Joseph Blanc Bridge Project

The Joseph Blanc Bridge in Le Bouchet Mont-Charvin, France, required urgent rehabilitation due to slow landslides affecting its load-bearing conditions. Encardio Rite provided geotechnical instrumentation, including EAN-92M-B tilt meters and EDJ-40V vibrating wire crack meters, to monitor structural tilt and crack width changes. Data collected via ESDL-30 dataloggers was transmitted to a web-based data management system, enabling real-time monitoring with instant alerts. The project ensured structural stability and reopened the bridge for traffic within the scheduled timeframe.

Joseph Blanc Bridge Project

The Joseph Blanc Bridge, a historic structure in Le Bouchet Mont-Charvin, France, was built in 1937. However, due to gradual landslides that altered the load-bearing conditions of the right bank span and caused the deck to detach from its support, repairs were necessary.

The instrumentation including the tilt meter and crack meter with online data at the client's desk has been supplied through our local marketing associate in the region.
