AL Garhoud Maintenance Facility for Marine Light Vessels at Dubai Creek

Marsa Al Seef is a vibrant mixed-use development on Dubai Creek, spanning 1.8 km of waterfront. The project includes hotels, restaurants, retail stores, and leisure amenities. Located near the Dubai Metro Red Line tunnel, the project required advanced monitoring solutions to ensure the safety of the metro infrastructure during construction. Encardio-Rite provided turnkey geotechnical and geodetic monitoring services, offering real-time data and comprehensive reporting to maintain safety and efficiency throughout the project.

AL Garhoud Maintenance Facility for Marine Light Vessels at Dubai Creek

The purpose of the project was to provide maintenance for marine light vessels at the Al Garhoud, Dubai Creek.

To ensure the safety of the existing Al Garhoud Bridge, the automatic online monitoring method was adopted.

Encardio-rite was awarded the sub-contract for the monitoring work of the project. The scope of work included conducting a pre-construction (dilapidation) condition survey of bridge piers and building a viaduct, supply, installation, manual & automatic monitoring of tilt meters, and manual & automatic surveying.

Data from both tilt meters and geodetic instruments was recorded with automatic data loggers and automatic total stations and was transferred to the server using GSM/GPRS, to provide online data for the stakeholder.
